Zozo is the story of a boy living in Beirut during the war. He and his family are waiting for their papers in order to leave Lebanon and seek refuge in Sweden with the grandparents. In the mean time they patiently sit through the incessant shelling of the city, hoping to get onto the next plane to Oslo.
The horrors of war and the way it affects civilians is graphically illustrated in this film. It won't leave you untouched. While even the in most serious situations there is room for jokes and kids playing you will alternate between crying and laughing... |
